When should I flush my vehicle's fluids?
Flash flood of vehicle fluids in Florida! (Ok, our alliteration fun is over for the day!) That being said, when was the last time you changed your vehicle fluids? Which fluids did you change, and did you change your filters with them? Let's take a look at the fluids your vehicle has and the filters you might want to consider changing.
Here is a shortlist of the fluids you want to pay attention to:
Engine Oil
Transmission Fluid
Brake Fluid
Coolant
Power Steering Fluid
Windshield Wiper Fluid
We recommend visiting your auto repair center of choice and setting yourself up with regular service intervals. They will help you establish a guideline for when certain fluids need attention and when others don't.
Do you change your vehicle filters when you change your vehicle fluids?
The short answer is yes; you change your vehicle filter when you change the fluid associated with it. At least, that is the case with your oil filter. However, there are different vehicle filters to be aware of that have nothing to do with your typical fluid flushes!

Fuel Filter
All three of these filters regulate particulate matter and make sure the outside elements stay where they belong, on the outside of your vehicle! Air filters should be changed, at the very least, once a year (for most basic filters). You may want to ask your trusted auto repair center of choice when to replace your fuel filter; they will assist you with the process.
